Baker & McKenzie was the only law firm receiving four nominations across the region, ahead of the other local and international law firms in Asia Pacific. The Firm’s offices and members firms in Vietnam and Malaysia ranked first in the overall rankings in their respective markets. Baker & McKenzie was also voted as the top 5 employers among the law firms in China and Singapore.

Asian Legal Business surveyed over 20,000 lawyers across 13 jurisdictions: Australia, Hong Kong, Mainland China, Singapore, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. Firms were nominated and rated by the respondents based on each of the 6 criteria: financial rewards, professional development & training, feedback & supervision, quality & variety of work, workload & work-life balance, and career & partnership prospects. Scores were then collated to determine the overall rankings and the top employers in each jurisdictions.
