Chicago, February 27, 2008 – Baker & McKenzie LLP today announced its sponsorship of The Field Museum’s Celebrating Women exhibition, which opens to the public on Friday, February 29 and features more than 40 color photos taken by renowned photographer, Paola Gianturco, from festivals around the world that celebrate femininity. The sponsorship is part of Baker & McKenzie’s recent partnership with The Field Museum as lead sponsors of its exhibitions in the Marae Gallery.

Some of Baker & McKenzie’s offices have established Women’s Attorney Steering Committees to organize educational and social luncheons and other events for women attorneys. In 2007, Working Mother magazine named Baker & McKenzie one of the 2007 Working Mother & Flex-Time Lawyers Best Law Firms for Women, and MultiCultural Law magazine named Baker & McKenzie one of the “Top 100 Law Firms for Diversity.”
