Biography

Nikole Zoumberakis is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Baker McKenzie. Her practice is focused on the formation and operation of private investment funds, including private equity, venture capital and real estate, and other investment advisory businesses. She also represents family offices and other institutional investors in their investment transactions.

Practice Focus

Nikole concentrates her practice on structuring and organizing various types of private investment funds, counseling on their formation and fundraising activities, as well as their ongoing operations, investor relations, governance and investing activities. Her practice includes advising on internal governance and compliance issues as well as on federal and state securities laws and regulations. In addition, Nikole counsels family offices on a wide range of investment and corporate matters, providing advice on investment structuring and regulatory matters.

Nikole has also represented a number of emerging growth companies as outside corporate counsel in financing transactions and on matters of general business and corporate law. She has extensive experience negotiating, structuring and closing a wide variety of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic partnerships.

Representative Legal Matters

  • Represented Fvlcrum Partners in connection with the formation and launch of its first private equity fund, Fvlcrum Fund LP.
  • Served as US counsel to Marathon-London Asset Management, an investment management firm based in London.
  • Served as fund counsel to KCB Real Estate Management, a real estate fund manager with a portfolio of properties across the US.
  • Represented Meaningful Partners in connection with the formation and raising of Meaningful Partners Dedicated Capital Vehicle II LP, and its inaugural private equity fund, Meaningful Partners Dedicated Capital Vehicle I LP.
